We can learn from Israel...
After the events that occurred in Gaza today, I came to the conclusion that the United States has one issue that must be on the top of every new administration: The War On Terror.
The bottom line is that you can look at the economy, the bailouts, the universal health care proposals, the unemployment rates, the tax rates, the interest rates, the education reforms, the tort reforms, the government corruption charges, the birth certificates, and all the issues that were brought up this past election cycle all you want. But if we do not get our act together, and start focusing on going after the Islamic terrorists committing these atrocious acts against mankind, we will not be here to tell our kids and grandchildren about it.
Liberals need to realize this: You can not compromise with these people. You can not talk them out of it. You can not even buy them off. They do not understand the meaning of the word "diplomacy". Ask the Israelis. They live with the fear of having their own people blown to smitherines from wacko, loony tune Islamists. And they need to be recognized for what they are: Insane. Muslim. Madmen.
And until the American Left, who is now in control (temporarily) of Congress and the White House, comes to terms with the notion that these people want the complete and utter annihiliation of mankind, especially the American kind, we will continue to live with the fact, and fear, that Israel lives with everyday: they could be next door to you, plotting an act of terror.
Be aware.

Conservatives have gone missing...
Over the last few weeks since the elections, I have picked on something very troubling. It seems that Republicans and conservatives in general have picked up doom and gloom syndrome. Why it is, I have heard many reasons: Obama won, he cheated, conservatives stayed home, financing laws killed us, we chose a moderate, etc.
The first one, yes. Obama did win. He won because he appealed with a message of hope and change. And people wanted to hear that. He won also because the color of his skin. But that does not make him God, or a messiah, like Louis Farakkhan has dubbed him. He is but a man, and the more people keep considering him godlike, the more influence he will have on what people think or do.
Did he cheat? I believe so. He cheated on many levels: where he was born, his documentation, his contributions and where they came from, ACORN and the multiple votes, and the list goes on. Cheating has been a staple of American politics since the beginning of our country. It has been done in Chicago, New Orleans, New York, L.A. and many other areas. But as conservatives, with our principles and our message, we have overcome vast odds.
Did conservatives stay at home this past election cycle? No doubt. But just as many stayed at home during the primaries. So when I hear people start complaining about their taxes going up or some type of legislation passed by the left leaning Congress, I don't want to hear their whining. If you didn't vote, don't complain. There were ample chances to get out there and vote.
This also segways into the notion of us choosing a moderate Republican to top the ticket. There was a myriad of more conservative candidates. Huckabee, Romney, Paul... Conservatives across the country should have been lining up for blocks during the primaries and voted for their candidate of choice. The McCain people got out there and voted their choice in. No excuses.
Some people might call me a misguided optimist. Perhaps, but I am. But I believe in the conservative cause, and I will do my part to fight the liberazis. If you stop fighting, we lose. But if you continue to fight back, no matter the pounding you take, they will not break your values, morals or spirit.

Trouble in Par-O-dise
It seems that no matter happens, the Great One seems to have issues, and the man has even been sworn into the office of President yet. The swirl around his birthplace, the authenticity of his birth certificate, and the continued troubling associations with people, like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright, are pieces of the puzzle that Obama wishes did not come together.
Not only that, but in the last few weeks members of his transition team and Cabinet are being looked at by investigators in the alleged Blagojevich "pay for play" scandal. It looks like Obama can not escape trouble anywhere he goes, including the Aloha State.
The President-elect spent the last few days attending the "funeral" of his grandmother, who has been dead since November 2nd. Then he found it in his busy schedule to go swimming, while the paparazzi got pictures of him without a shirt on, all at the same answering questions about what his role was in the Blago investigations.
People, this is only a month after the fall election. Can you imagine what it will be like within 4 years? Not even Bubba had these issues before he was sworn into office. It all occurred after he took the oath. And that is not all:
Michelle "Jackie-O" Obama complained about where they were going to live in Washington, D.C. It appears it is not to her liking that the Obama family will have to live elsewhere until 5 days before the inauguration takes place, when they move into the Blair House, as is tradition with every incoming administration.
Place your bets, people. Major scandal within 6 months of the O-dministration.
